What's an affiliate site?
Kenya Betting Guide is an affiliate site. That means we earn a commission when you sign up to a betting operator through one of our links and make a deposit. The commission is paid by the operator — never by you. Signing up through our links never costs you anything extra.
How rankings are determined
Our rankings come from our methodology, published in detail at How We Rank. Each operator is scored across six categories with explicit weights.
Commission rates do not change rankings. When two operators score similarly, we recommend the one we'd genuinely send a friend to — not the one that pays us most. Our top recommendation for first-time bettors is Betika, a brand from which we earn modest commission. Higher-paying operators (1xBet in particular) sit lower because their offshore licensing is genuinely worse for Kenyan beginners.
Commercial relationships
We have affiliate relationships with most operators we cover. We do not have exclusive relationships with any operator. We don't accept payment for placement, and we don't remove negative reviews in exchange for higher commissions.
Reporting an operator
If you've had a negative experience with any operator we rank, please email us at editors@kenyabettingguide.com. We use reader feedback in our quarterly review cycle, and patterns of complaints lead to ranking drops.
